High Atlas 4x4 Tour with Berber Lunch in Immouzer

From sea level to high altitude, this is a full day trip with a side-order of adventure. You'll travel by 4x4 into the Atlas Mountains from the coastal plains of Agadir to discover the Berber village of Imouzzer Ida Outanane. Indeed, there are several waterfalls in the heart of our green valley, a place known especially for the quality of its honey.'Your High Atlas Mountains off-road adventure begins with a light breakfast and then a photo stop at the cool, palm-clad Tamzargout oasis, where you can stretch our legs. As we travel higher up into the mountains, the jaw-dropping views over Paradise Valley are sure to leave an impression. We'll arrive in the village of Immouzer to see how life in a typical Berber mountain community unfolds. On hot days, you might see local kids jumping off the rocks into the natural pools just outside the village.As you stroll around the village, you'll pass stalls selling Moroccan souvenirs and the prized local honey. Jamal says, ‘My mother used to prepare an artisanal treat known as “amlou”, made with Immouzer honey mixed with crushed almonds and argan oil, a real Berber delicacy.' Next it's time for an al fresco lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You'll have some free time to relax and take in your dramatic surroundings before we return to Agadir through a different route in the mountains.

From Agadir, you can easily head out into the surrounding countryside to discover lush green oases and historic walled towns. You'll travel to the palm-filled oasis of Tiout, get to know the traditional way of life in Taroudant and even spot a few tree-climbing goats along the way.

Atlantic Coast Tour and Timlalin Dunes Sand-Boarding Experience

Morocco's Atlantic Ocean coastline is the star of this tour. Journey through tiny fishing villages and hippie hangouts en route to Taghazout – a stretch of wave-washed sand that's been a surfer's paradise since the 60s. Essaouira has always been a multicultural melting pot.'On day one, we'll hit the road to Marrakech, where on arrival you'll delve straight into the medina's warren of tightly-packed streets. Spend the morning taking in sights as we drop by places like Jardin Secret, before lunch at Dar Nejarine. After some free time to explore, we'll head to Djemaa el-Fna at dusk – the best time to see it – before a tasty dinner and traditional entertainment in a riad.On day two we'll head to the coastal city of Essaouira. Its mellow atmosphere, narrow winding streets laden with kaleidoscopic carpets, peeling-paint houses with and heavy old wooden doors make it a wonderful place to wander around. Walk the ramparts of the harbour, known as the Skala, where electric-blue boats bob in the water, or discover the atmospheric medina. There's a lunch stop included followed by free time to explore, before returning to Agadir in the early evening.

Agadir Crocoparc Tour

Agadir Crocoparc is one of Morocco's top things to do. It's home to 400 crocodiles, some of which are over 4 metres long. Watch them dozing on the banks and peering from the water, and coo over the beady-eyed baby crocs in the nursery. And if you're here at feeding time, there's another treat – watching the adults fight over chunks of raw meat.

Camel Safari Experience

There's no more Moroccan way to go sightseeing than on the back of a camel. And with this 90-minute ride, you'll be at one with nature as well. You'll be transferred to the north of Agadir where you'll enjoy a slow and steady journey through a banana plantation and one of the city's most picture-postcard beaches. We'll head to a ranch around an hours drive from Agadir to start, where you'll be partnered with a camel between two people. Then, the adventure begins. The camel trail takes you through trails sprinkled with exotic landscapes and sandy dunes. It's a route the whole family will enjoy.Over the 90-minute trip, you'll enjoy a privileged view over the countryside, passing through a banana plantation, as well as have the chance to spot wildlife in its natural surroundings. You'll also enjoy the scenic vistas surrounding Tamri Beach, and as you trundle along, they'll be a quick stop for selfie or two before we head back.

Atlas Mountains Trekking Tour

If you're an early bird and you love making the most of your mornings, then a two-hour trek in the Atlas Mountains will leave you feeling invigorated and ready to explore. You'll be led by an expert guide on a trek through Taghrat Ouankrim, not far from Agadir.You'll head out into the peace and quiet of the Atlas Mountains early in the morning to avoid the heat of the midday sun. Along the journey, you'll stop at Alma village to take in the views as well as the verdant green Tamzargout Oasis for a photo stop. Once we arrive at Aksri, a typical Berber village, you'll be treated to a traditional breakfast – ideal for charging your batteries ahead of the trek.From here, you'll then set off on a two-hour trail, passing by deep craggy gorges, soaring summits and rocky expanses. This trail is a great opportunity to experience the Atlas Mountains up close and escape into the tranquillity of nature.

Discover Agadir City Tour

Dip your toe into Agadir's history and culture, with a half-day tour to all its hotspots. Visit a traditional kasbah, take a stroll along the port and round and get your bearings with free time in the town.First up is a visit to the kasbah of Agadir Oufella. Built in 1541 as a fortress, the ruins stand on a hill out of town and offer sweeping views over the harbour, beach and city. Next, we'll drive through the port area, where you can catch sight of the fishermen offloading their catch of the day. Then, it's on to the new town and the main streets of Agadir where you can take some snaps outside Mohamed V Mosque.We'll then slow down the pace with a guided visit and free time at the main market, Souk El Had. Haggling with stallholders for spices, crafts, furnishings and more isn't just part of the experience – it's expected. Or why not sip on a mint tea as you watch the world around you. This thrilling quad ride is an exciting way to discover the landscapes around Agadir. It's an adrenaline-pumping adventure through argan tree forests and up-and-down sand dunes. It's an absolute blast.The quad's low centre of gravity and large wheels make sure that even inexperienced drivers can drive safely along dunes and trails. You'll soon be flying along trails through the argan tree forest and zig-zagging your way up and down the sand dunes, all while catching a glimpse of the beautiful landscape surrounding the city of Agadir.
