What to expect

Galloping along the golden sands of Boa Vista's beaches is as exhilarating as it gets. You can choose from an hour-long horse ride for beginners, or a 90-minute adventure for intermediates. It's an experience that gets you back in touch with nature the environmentally-friendly way.

The open stretches of beaches that wind their way along Boa Vista's coastline will be your picture-perfect setting for a horse ride. Let the cobwebs be blown away by the sea breeze as you canter along the sand and take in the panoramas from your new, higher vantage point.

You'll be teamed up with your horse down at the stables and given all the equipment you need to ride off into the distance. It's great for adults and kids alike, so the whole family can join in on this one, or make it a romantic ride for two.

Boa Vista Catamaran Cruise with Beach Afternoon and Lunch

Relaxation is the name of the game on this downtempo nautical excursion. Spend a morning exploring the west coast of Boa Vista and the islet of Sal Rei aboard your catamaran before heading for a beach restaurant lunch. Then, spend an afternoon on the golden sands of Praia da Chaves.As your skipper steers you out of port, you'll sail to the islet of Sal Rei and around it before gliding back to port – spending about three hours at sea. You'll then be transferred to the virgin sands of Praia da Chaves on the west coast of Boa Vista – just in time for lunch.You'll be served a tasty lunch at the popular Perola de Chaves Beach restaurant. Get behind the wheel of an off-road, four-seater buggy and explore the south of Boa Vista Island, in Cape Verde. Feel the thrill of ripping across the dunes of Morro de Areia and head past the towering chimney of the old ceramics factory at Chaves Beach. It harks back to the days when the area was an industrial hub on the island in the 19th century. You'll then ride to Verandinha and see its caves and arching cliffs, before stopping at Cape Verde's longest beach, Santa Monica.
