Get picked up at your hotel in Naples at 10.00am and head to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations. Leave your transport at the parking lot and walk the rest of the way up to the summit of the only active volcano in continental Europe. Visit the evocative crater, 1200 mt. high, from which you can see the Gulf of Naples stretching from Capo Miseno to the tip of Campanella. Return to your hotel at approximately 5.00pm.
