Things to do in Tulum

Tulum is a city in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located at the southern end of the Riviera Maya, one of the main international tourist destinations in the country. Tulum is located next to the archaeological ruins of the Mayan city of Tulum, from which it receives its name. Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya. One of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, Tulum is today a popular site for tourists. The archaeological ruins of Tulum and the archaeological site of Cobá are two of its main tourist attractions. The Tulum area offers to the visitors a large number of cenotes and the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an is another place of great tourist interest.
