Depart from your location of choice in Naples (hotel/port/station) and head along the coast to reach Sorrento at 10.00am. Sorrento stands on a terrace that rises rapidly above the sea on one of the most spectacular points of the Campania coast. Thanks to its position and mild climate, Sorrento was one of the favorite places of the ancient Romans.
Stop in Sorrento for about an hour before heading along the spectacular coast towards Positano located at the center of the Amalfi coast with its white and pastel-colored houses, the parish church of St. Assunta and its splendid majolica dome, the beaches and alleys overflowing with shops that are ideal for shopping.
Then, after a wonderful hour spent in Positano, you will go on to visit Amalfi, a city that has important remnants of its prestigious past times, especially the cathedral dedicated to St. Andrea that dominates from the top of a staircase the homonymous square and the intricate alleys of white houses perched on one another.
Lastly, there will be a visit to Ravello, one of the most precious gems of the Amalfi coast, famous for its peaceful atmosphere and impressive views as well as for its villas including the most famous Villa Rufolo, with its breathtaking panorama and gardens. Arrive back in Naples around 5.15pm.
